I similarly say that if you follow boring people, you'll think Twitter is boring; if you follow interesting people, you'll think Twitter is interesting. But your concrete examples tell the story, and show how much people miss when they diss Twitter as just people talking about what they had for lunch. (Two slices of meat lovers' pizza from our Campus Center ... yum!) BTW, "It’s kind of like being at a great conference all year long" is one of my favorite descriptions of it! Couldn’t agree more.
